Founded by Benchmark in 2017 and backed by British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS), NSE has become the cornerstone of university esports in the UK - overseeing the British University Esports Championship and engaging more than 180,000 student gamers nationwide.
The acquisition sees the British Esports Federation appointed to operate NSE going forward, combining two of the UK’s largest student esports platforms to create a unified national pathway from school to university-level competition.
